What will you be contributing to?

You will be part of the International Markets organization within Cloetta. This team manages the sales to countries where Cloetta does not have its own sales and marketing organization, a total of more than 50 markets. There are regional hubs in APAC, Dubai, The Baltics and Switzerland.


Your responsibility will be…

To develop the Cloetta business in the American markets, specifically US and Canada with current existing distribution partners and retailers, but also identifying and exploring new business opportunities.


You will do so by mainly focusing on:

  • Propose and execute the identified shortterm strategy in close cooperation with the local partners/ distributor network
  • Manage and guide distributor network to the expected deliverables
  • Closely monitor the evolution on area KPI’s
  • Develop a good market commercial understanding within the confectionery category, with particular regard of business key drivers
  • Identify further market opportunities fitting with Business Development defined strategy framework
  • Optimize and further expand the current distributor network with particular regards to the focus area
  • Manage the budget for A&P, commissions, travel spending

A very exciting opportunity where we need someone who can work independently, is not afraid to use a lot of own initiative and can be persistent, so we are looking for you if:


You have acquired the following:

  • Economics Degree
  • Fluent in Dutch and English at least “good” is necessary
  • A second language “nice to have”
  • At least 1 years working experience in modern organized FMCG companies
  • Previous experiences in other job positions
  • Capability to build relationship

People recognize you in the following competences:

  • Willingly to learn and to be coached
  • Dutch language or willing to learn is preferred
  • Interpersonal and Intercultural skills
  • Affinity with building brands
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting and Marketing principals
  • Proven self starter that can cope in competitive markets and can work independently / autonomous.
  • You have a large innovative capacity, are entrepreneurial and result oriented and are able to be very persuasive.
  • Willingly to travel (approx. max 25% of the time)
